After stalling on the hill at MP 8.8, four SD40-2s take an empty feeder train from the KCS out of the Mississippi River valley. A CP Gevo and two more SD40-2s came to assist the rear of the train.
The 490 is on the move east again after setting out a bad order car on the siding in Sedan. The power this day is a nice all EMD lashup led by a leased SD40-2.
The 490 discovered the 4th car on the train had severe flat spots on two wheels less than 5 miles into their trip east from Glenwood, so they're pausing to set out the bad order car on the siding ... (more)
